John Overton Comprehensive High School

John Overton Comprehensive High School is a public high school located in Nashville, Tennessee. It is named after prominent Judge John Overton and was built in the 1950's. The school mascot is a Bobcat and school colors are red, white and black.

Overton is well known in the state for their marching band. They have won the Tennessee Governor's Cup five times in 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, and 1992. They have also performed in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, The Rose Bowl Parade, and have been selected to commemorate the 60th and 65th anniversaries of the Bombing of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii in 2001 and 2006.
