John Offord

John Offord was Dean of Lincoln and became Lord Privy Seal from 1342 to 1344 [citation needed]. From 1345 until his death in 1348 he was Lord Chancellor of England [1]. In the last year of his life he was Archbishop of Canterbury, but served only 10 months before dying of the plague prevalent in Europe at the time [citation needed].
