John Noyes

John Noyes (April 2, 1764 - October 26, 1841) was a Vermont politician who was a member of the United States House of Representatives.

He was born in Atkinson, New Hampshire and attended private schools. Noyes graduated from Dartmouth College in 1795. After graduation, he worked as a tutor at Chesterfield Academy from 1795-1797 and at Dartmouth College from 1797-1799, teaching Daniel Webster at Dartmouth.

Noyes was a member of the Vermont House of Representatives from 1808-1810. He was elected as a Federalist to the Fourteenth Congress and served from March 4, 1815 to March 3, 1817.
