John Murphy (born 18 October 1976 in Whiston, England) is a professional footballer currently playing for Blackpool. He signed for the Seasiders from Chester City in August 1999.
On October 27, 2006, Murphy joined Macclesfield Town on a month's loan. This has since been extended until the end of the year.[1]
