John Maunders

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

John Kenneth Maunders born 4 April 1981, Ashford, Middlesex, England is an English cricket player who has played for the cricket teams of Middlesex and Leicestershire.

Maunders is an opening batsman who has hit 5 centuries in his career. In his time with Leicestershire he has shown he has the talent to succeed, unfortunately he hasn't shown the consistency required of a top class cricketer. The 2006 season could well be a breakthrough season though with Maunders scoring over 900 runs, and recent developments suggest he will be offered a new deal and will be at the county for years to come.
