John Mason (Schoolmaster)

John Mason (born 1945) is an Indian educationist. He has served as the Headmaster of The Doon School.

John Mason was born in Dehradun.

Mr Mason has taught in and headed several schools during his career. These include La Martiniere College, Kolkata and St. James School, Kolkata. In 1995, he took over as the Headmaster of The Doon School, from Shomie Das. He served as Headmaster until May 2003, after which Kanti Bajpai took over.
