John J. Bain

John J. Bain was the headmaster of Oratory Preparatory School from 1945-1967. He is the main man responsible for making the school into what it is today. The main building is named after him. In 1967, due to financial troubles, Father Bain turned over control of the school to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark.
