John Gwilliam

John Albert Gwilliam captained the Welsh Rugby Team when they achieved Grand Slams in 1950 and 1952.[1][2][3]
He was born 28 February 1923 and attended Monmouth School and Trinity College, Cambridge. He was headmaster of Birkenhead School from 1963-1988, mainly remembered for his disciplinary standards and his religious views.[4] In 2005 he was inducted into the Welsh Sports Hall of Fame (WSHF).[5][6]
