John Gregory Betancourt

John Gregory Betancourt (b. 1963 in Missouri) is a writer of science fiction, fantasy and mystery novels and short stories. He has edited Amazing Stories and the revived Weird Tales magazine. He is the writer of many Star Trek novels and the new Chronicles of Amber prequel series, as well as original fiction.

Along with his wife Kim Betancourt, he is also the cofounder of independent publisher Wildside Press.
