John Froines

John Froines is a chemist and anti-war activist.

He is most noted as a member of the Chicago Seven, a group charged with involvement with the riots at the 1968 Democratic Convention in Chicago. Froines, who holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Yale, was charged with making incendiary devices. He was acquitted. ^{[citation needed]}

Froines later served as the Director of Toxic Substances at OSHA. He currently teaches at the UCLA School of Public Health.^{[citation needed]}
