John Frieda is a hugely successful British celebrity hairdresser who has built up a multi-million pound fortune from hair salons and hair products on the back of his reputation.

Currently living in New York, he divorced his British wife, Lulu, of almost 20 years, in the early 1990s. They have an actor son Jordan Frieda.

He comes from a Jewish family which migrated to the UK from Poland in the 19th century.
