John Flanagan (politician)

John Flanagan is a New York State Senator elected in 2002 to represent New York's 2nd district.

was re-elected in 2006 by a 60% majority againts Brooke Ellison, who is the first Quadraplegic to graduate from Harvard. It was thought that she did not know her politics and was perhaps a parochial because of her condition. John Flanagan has stolid support in New York among Democrats and Republicans alike, despite the fact that he is a Republican.
