John Ferritto

John E. Ferritto (b. 1937) is an American composer, conductor, and music professor.
He holds an M.M. degree from Yale University. He teaches music theory and composition at Kent State University, where he is the coordinator of the Composition Seminar and schedules concerts of the New Music Ensemble as well as student composers' concerts.
He is Conductor Laureate and former Music Director of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra in Springfield, Ohio.
Ferritto is married to the violist Marcia Ferritto.
