John Kenneth Doherty (May 16, 1905 - Apr 19, 1996) was an American athlete who competed mainly in the Decathlon.

He competed for a United States in the 1928 Summer Olympics held in Amsterdam, Netherlands in the Decathlon where he won the Bronze medal.
