John Digby, 1st Earl of Bristol (February, 1580 – January 16, 1653, Paris [1]), was an English diplomatist and a moderate royalist. He was the son of Sir George Digby of Coleshill, Warwickshire and Abigail, daughter of Sir Arthur Henningham. Digby lived at Sherborne Castle, Dorset.
