John Courage is a U.S. politician. In 2006, he was the Democratic candidate running for the U.S. House of Representatives in Texas's 21st congressional district.
Following a U.S. Supreme Court decision (LULAC v. Perry) concerning the previous redistricting, Mr. Courage ran in an open primary.
On November 7, 2006, Mr. Courage lost his bid against:[1]

- Gene Kelley, Democrat
- Tommy Calvert Jr., Independent
- James Lyle Peterson, Independent
- Mark J. Rossano, Independent
- James Arthur Strohm, Libertarian
