John Cook Wilson (1849-1915) was a British philosopher. He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford. He became a Fellow of Oriel College, Oxford in 1873. He was Wykeham Professor of Logic, at New College, Oxford, from 1889 until his death.

Of a generation to be brought up in the atmosphere of British idealism, he espoused the cause of philosophical realism. H. A. Prichard and H. H. Price were his students.
