John Cook (golfer)

John Cook (born October 2, 1957) is an American professional golfer from Windermere, Florida. He was born in Toledo, Ohio and attended Ohio State University where he was a member of the 1979 NCAA Golf Championship team. He also won the U.S. Amateur in 1978. He turned professional in 1979. He won 11 times on the PGA Tour and was a member of the 1993 U.S. Ryder Cup team.

He has featured in the top 50 of the Official World Golf Rankings.
