John Cook (clergyman)

John Cook (1805-1892) was a Presbyterian minister and educator from Quebec. He was born and educated in Scotland and came to Canada in 1836.
Cook promoted education, started schools, and was associated with the early days of McGill University. He was principal of Morrin College in Quebec City for 31 of its 40 years.
