Born in 1789, ordained priest in 1814, ordained bishop in 1833. On the restoration of the Catholic hierarchy by Pius IX in 1850 he was appointed Bishop of the Diocese of Beverley. He resigned as Bishop of Beverley in 1860 and died in 1861.
