John Bowler (actor)

John Bowler (born in Newcastle) is an English actor who plays PC Roger Valentine in ITV’s The Bill. He also played Ethan Black in the 2004 series of Crossroads. He was educated in Yorkshire, and trained for acting in Glasgow. John was a keen sports player when he was young. He also played Dougie Slade in EastEnders.
He also played Divisional Officer Mick Hammond in ITV1 firefighting drama Steel River Blues.
His son Joe Bowler is also a budding actor who happens to be looking for work :-)
