John Battley

John Rose Battley (26 November 1880—1 November 1952) was a British Labour Party politician. He was Member of Parliament for Clapham 1945-1950.
In 1938 Battley, a printer, was elected to the London County Council for Clapham. He won the parliamentary seat in the 1945 general election by 5,000 votes, but did not contest the 1950 general election.
