John Bapst Memorial High School

John Bapst Memorial High School is a private, independent high school in Bangor, Maine, United States. The school was founded in 1928 as a Catholic school when the two existing Catholic high schools became overcrowded. When the Diocese of Portland decided to close the school in 1980, it remained open as an independent entity.
The John Bapst band gained national notice in 1991 when it organized on short notice to welcome the first troops back from the Gulf War at Bangor International Airport.
School colors are purple and white.
The mascot is a Crusader.
