John Arbuthnott, 5th Viscount of Arbuthnott (c. 1692May 8, 1756), known as the "Good Lord", was a Scottish Peer.

He was the son of Robert Arbuthnott, 3rd Viscount of Arbuthnott and Anne Gordon.

Sometime after May 1710, he married Jean Morrison.

He died in 1756 at Arbuthnott, Kincardineshire, Scotland, without issue.
