John Adams Middle School, Edison, New Jersey (usually known as JAMS) is one out of two middle schools in north Edison, New Jersey that sends its students to J.P. Stevens High School. The school is part of the Edison Township Public Schools. After being beaten in academics by its rival Woodrow Wilson Middle School, Edison, New Jersey, JAMS finally pullsedahead by 3 percentile on the Grade Eight Proficiency Assessment (GEPA) Language Arts test according to http://www.greatschools.com but falls short on math by 2 percentage points. Even still, John Adams is still beating out Woodrow Wilson in their track meets held at JP Stevens. Their wins have been continued from year 2000 to 2006 and still counting.
