John A. Sanford

John A. "Jack" Sanford (1929–17 October 2005) was a Jungian psychoanalyst and Episcopal priest.
He worked as a parish priest for 19 years then started private practice as a psychoanalyst focusing on psychology, religion and inner growth. He has been a mentor for Journey into Wholeness since its beginning in 1977.
He was the son of Agnes Sanford (1897-1982), the founder of the Inner Healing Movement.
He is the author of a number of books including:
