Johann George Moeresius

Johann George Moeresius (in Polish, Jan Jerzy Moeresius) (1598—1657) was a poet and rector from Danzig (Gdańsk) . Moeresius was a friend of the poet Johannes Plavius, who also lived in Danzig. Moeresius dedicated a series of poems to the singer Constantia Czirenberg (Zierenberg), the daughter of the Danzig mayor Johann Zierenberg.
