[edit] Soundtracks
[edit] A video game soundtrack with a specific artist, but not part of a series
- Looks fine to me without any changes to the infobox. In most cases, I guess, the title of a game or a film is included in the {{{{Name}}} field so there is no need to repeat it.

[edit] A film soundtrack with no specific artist, and part of a series
- Any real-life examples?
- Kill Bill Volume 1 (soundtrack) and Kill Bill Volume 2 (soundtrack).
- Music from the OC: Mix 1 through 5.
- Trainspotting (soundtrack), though they've got two infoboxes on one page there at the moment.
- And many more, at Cat:Film soundtracks, Cat:Soundtracks, and subcategories. I've never checked before now, but they see to be rampant, and right now they've mostly got "Various artists chronology" in the chronology field, which is just clumsy. There are even more complicated cases, but we can figure this out first. –Unint 21:33, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] A TV soundtrack with specific artists, and part of a series
- Pretty the same situation. The same effect can be accomplished without changes to the infobox.
- This isn't actually working properly. The chronology field should not be the same as the type field, since all three entities weren't on all three albums. This is the most compelling argument for a type-in chronology field. –Unint 21:36, 15 April 2006 (UTC)

Watch Out! (2003) |
- Well Jogers, I looked at the code and I agree, it is really simple, and far less intrusive than the one i proposed. I really like it, and would be satisfied with this, however, alas can't implement this into Template:Album infobox because it is protected
