Joginder Sharma

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Joginder Sharma pronunciation  (born October 23, 1983 in Rohtak) is an Indian cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler.

Sharma is comparable to Kapil Dev in his introduction to the game of cricket and to the interesting attitude toward play in Indian cricket, bowling in a very varied and exciting fashion. Sharma's seam bowling can cause problems to players, such as it did to Rahul Dravid, Yuvraj Singh and VVS Laxman while playing for India A.

Having scored two successive centuries, and securing a ten-wicket haul in the 2004/05 Ranji Trophy, Sharma won his place in the Indian side for the Bangladesh tour.
