Was this medal given out in the NSL? I cannot remmeber it happening, but if it did it should be included here. Tancred 08:32, 3 April 2006 (UTC)

I think it was, but I didn't pay much attention to it. Good to see this page has been made. I don't have enough info to start these things. :) --Executive.koala 11:54, 3 April 2006 (UTC)

Yeah medal was definitely existing in the old NSL! Don't think the media gave it much attention though.

The list presented is not the Marston medal, it's the player of the year award, at least according this http://www.ozfootball.net/ark/NSL/NSLawards.html Blackmissionary 11:10, 3 May 2006

Yeh according to one of the sources I found, the Marston medal was introduced in 1990 (as it says at the start of the article) - I was a bit confused when someone added winners since 1977. I know the ones I added (Biskic 1991, Horvat 1995, Milicic 2002, Colosimo 2003 and Elrich 2004) were actually the Marston medal winners (see the references), but the others I can't be sure about. Ok, all fixed now. I googled for the info not covered by AlbinoMonkey (all his additions and references are correct), and found the rest of the recipients via the the FFA source listed first in the references. Deleted the incorrect info, inserted the missing correct info, fixed some links i think, and that's about it, so more a minor overhaul than a major one :) Blackmissionary 21:29, 3 May 2006
Nice work. Surprised I didn't find that site in my searches, hence why I had a whole heap of seperate references. Anyway, nice one. AlbinoMonkey (Talk) 11:49, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
