Talk:Joe Mantegna
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I think Tony Mantegna deserves a photo of himself on his own wikipedia entry, rather than a pic of 'Fat Tony' from The Simpsons.. Whatever did he do to deserve such disrespect? : ) Dirk Diggler Jnr
a proud chicago native- i believe he started a restauraunt called taste of Chicago in pasadena so he could have easy access to his favorite chicago specialties. he has also appeared on WGN broadcast(s) of Cub games.
[edit] Italian-American ? or American ?
So is he American, or Italian-American ? The article says he was born in Chicago, which I think is enough to call him American. Ohyeahmormons changed him from "an American actor" to "an Italian-American actor". It's just my opinion, but I think we should call him American. The article then goes on to say he is of Italian-American descent, which is fair enough. The article does not need two links to Italian-American. Does he have dual Italian and American nationality ? Does he describe himself as Italian-American ? If the answer to either of these is "yes" then Ohyeahmormons' edit should be allowed to stand. If the answer to both is "no" then I think we should revert Ohyeahmormons' edit to show him as being American, and leave the Italian-American reference to his family. Any one got any other opinions ?
