Joel Lynch

Joel Lynch (born October 3, 1987) is a professional football player currently playing for Brighton & Hove Albion where he has come through the clubs own youth set up. He was part of a history breaking youth set up for the club which saw them reach the quarter finals of the FA Youth Cup Final. His reward, along with fellow teamate Joe Gatting, was a place in the squad for the first team which saw him make his debut against Southampton F.C. on January 3, 2006.

Joel has attracted the interest of several Premiership and Championship clubs, with Portsmouth keeping a close scrutiny on the player. Other clubs that have, or are currently rumoured to be interested in Lynch are Birmingham City, Blackburn, Newcastle, Watford, West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
