Joel Heitkamp

Joel Heitkamp is a politician and talk show host from Hankinson, North Dakota. He is the present host of KFGO's News and Views program, and has served in the North Dakota Senate in the Democratic-NPL caucus since 1994.

His sister, former North Dakota attorney general Heidi Heitkamp, was the 2000 Democrat nominee for governor of North Dakota. She lost the election to Republican John Hoeven.
