The Joe McDoakes series was a long-lived series of live-action one-reel short films produced by Warner Bros. from 1942 to 1956.

The series starred George O'Hanlon (later the voice of George Jetson on The Jetsons) as Joe McDoakes, who, though he had a different occupation in each short, was "always behind the eightball".
