Joseph Christopher Ledley is a Welsh professional footballer currently playing for Cardiff City.

Ledley is currently one of the rising stars of Cardiff City, after performing well for the reserve team, and thus being called into the full team in the middle of the 2004-2005 season, then playing well in the senior side since then.

[edit] History

He was born in Cardiff, and was born and grew up in the Fairwater district of Cardiff. He is not the first footballer in the family, however, his older cousin Luke Pittard played in goals for Wales under 21's, before injury cut short his career. He played several times for the Welsh Under 21 squad, before going on to win his first senior Wales cap in an away World Cup qualifying match against Poland in October 2005.
