Joe Heving

Joseph William Heving (September 2, 1900 - April 11, 1970) born in Covington, Kentucky was a Pitcher for the New York Giants (1930-31), Chicago White Sox (1933-34), Cleveland Indians (1937-38 and 1941-44), Boston Red Sox (1938-40) and Boston Braves (1945).
Brother of Catcher Johnnie Heving.
He led the American League in Games (63) in 1944.
He was the oldest player in the American League from 1942-44.
He ranks 86th on the MLB All-Time Won-Loss Percentage (.613).
