Joe Denly

Joe Liam Denly (born March 16, 1986) is an English cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and leg break bowler.

Born in Canterbury, Denly first came to attention during the England 2005 Under-19 tour of India where he made three half-centuries in three tests.

He has played for Kent at every age level and achieved his first-team debut against Oxford in 2004. He continued to make appearances for England in the ECB tour of Holland in 2003. He was soon named captain of the ECB Development of Excellence XI team.

He made his debut in the County Championship against Gloucestershire in 2005 and at the end of the season was offered an extension to his contract.

In 2006 he has represented Gore Court in the Kent Cricket League in their push for the 1st XI title.
