Joe B. Mauldin

Joe. B. Mauldin is ranked among the top rock bassists and became a recording engineer at Gold Star Studios, the legendary Los Angeles studio that became the hit factory for Phil Spector, Brian Wilson and other major 1960's rock performers.

Mauldin was the bassist in the group The Crickets, which included legendary Buddy Holly and drummer Jerry Allison and guitarist Sonny Curtis. Since Holly's death in 1959 he has played on and off in a trio with Allison and Curtis.[1]
