[edit] Biography

Born in Los Angeles, California, Sweetin first stepped into showbiz by doing an Oscar Mayer hot dog commercial when she was just four years old. Her debut role was in The Hogan Family in 1987, in which she played Pamela, the niece of Mrs. Poole. She also voiced Lucy Van Pelt in It's Christmastime Again, Charlie Brown.

Following the end of Full House, she said she would try to be a "normal" teenager. She graduated from Los Alamitos High School in 1999 and then attended Chapman University in southern California from 19992003. She majored in mass communications, planning a show business career as an acting teacher. She pledged Alpha Phi Women's Fraternity while in college.

Sweetin also did a few guest appearances on TV shows, such as Party of Five, Brotherly Love, and Yes, Dear, after Full House ended. She currently resides in Los Alamitos, California.

Sweetin married police officer Shaun Holguin on July 27, 2002, and her flower girl was Full House co-star Candace Cameron's daughter, Natasha.

In July 2006, Sweetin became the host of Pants-Off Dance-Off, a TV-PG rated dance contest on Fuse TV[1]. The program features mostly amateur ecdysiasts stripping down to their underwear to their favorite music videos.

[edit] Personal Troubles

Troubles began to arise for Sweetin after the end of the Full House series. At 13, she was a freshman in high school, looking for a place to fit in. After her marriage, she began an addiction to crystal meth. After keeping it a secret from her friends and family for two years, she was hospitalized. In 2006, she told Good Morning America that she was in the process of a divorce. Sweetin is now sober after having voluntarily checked herself into rehab in March 2005. She said she's now clean and sober and denied tabloid reports of a "three-day bender" and an intervention from her former Full House castmates.

[1][2] She also said she'd like to return to acting in movies or television.
