Job class

In many role-playing games job class (either Live action role-playing, table-top or in RPG video games) refers to a character's job or what abilities they know or can learn. Sometimes called Character class.
Several games that feature job classes include Final Fantasy, Everquest, Dungeons and Dragons and many others.
The vast majority of RPGs have non-changeagle job classeslike Dungeons and Dragons, World of Warcraft, and many others.
Some games like Final Fantasy X-2 feature changeable job classes
Games like Fire Emblem and many Final Fantasy games have up-gradeable job classes.
However Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced have up-gradeable and changeable job classes.
many list job classes in 4 types
- Combat Fighter- any charaster who can only do close quarers combat. Examples are: knights, monks, and warriors
- Range Fighter- any character who can only do ranged attacks. Examples are: archers and snipers
- Magician- any character who can only fight using magic. Examples are: mages, alchamist, wizards, witches, ect.
- Magical Fighter- any magician who can also fight in close quarters. This job is difrent in every game but the most commom is the palidin.
- There are also many other types but these are the most common main catagories.
