[edit] License tagging for Image:Cavailles-stamp.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Cavailles-stamp.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 05:04, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Adams.jpg
Hi Joan Gos, when you uploaded the image of Claire Adams, you replaced an existing image of another person that was being used in another article. I have reverted to the older version. Can you re-upload the Claire Adams image using a new file name, such as ClaireAdams.jpg? Thanks! Regards, Accurizer 19:11, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
- Don't worry, the image is still there; it's not deleted. It can be seen here: [1] You can copy it onto your computer and re-upload it to ClaireAdams.jpg, or I'll go about seeing how to move it. In the future please try to be careful not to replace an existing image when you are uploading a new image and this problem will be avoided. In any event, thanks for your contributions. Regards, Accurizer 13:15, 14 July 2006 (UTC)

- Can you provide me with the source and copyright status of the Claire Adams image? This information is required for all uploaded images. I can't move the image without this information. Thanks. Accurizer 13:21, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Throughbred racing project
A number of Wikipedians have come together and formed the WikiProject Throughbred racing to help to expand and better organise information in articles and categories related to the sport of thoroughbred racing. As a past contributor to horse racing articles, we invite you to consider becoming a participant in the project, and/or adding the page to your watchlist so that you become aware, and can join any future horse racing discussions, which may be of interest to you. [edit] Image tagging for Image:Cavailles.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Cavailles.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

[edit] Stub shrinking
Interesting - [2] - most people try and expand stubs, not shrink them :) Stevage 08:38, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
