Joanna Connor (born August 31, 1962) is a Chicago-based blues singer/songwriter/guitarist.
A fiery guitarist since the 1970's - when rock & roll was all over the media - Joanna stayed true to her Blues roots. Born in Brooklyn, NY in 1962, Joanna was drawn to the Chicago Blues scene in the early 1980's. Soon after her arrival, she began sitting in with Chicago regulars like James Cotton, Junior Wells, Buddy Guy, and A.C. Reed. By 1987 she had started her own band, and recorded her first album for Blind Pig Records in 1989.
