Jo Mango

Jo Mango is a British alternative rock and acoustic band from Glasgow. Jo Mango is also the adopted name of the lead singer and primary songwriter of the group.

- Jim Mango: bass player, backing vocals
- Alan Peacock: backing vocals
- Katherine Waumsley: flute, harp
- Calum Scott: drums, percussion, guitar, Record producer.
Jo writes the band's songs and is the unquestioned frontwoman of the group. Jo has been singing and writing her own songs since 1996, and first became noted for her performances at the Unplugged night in Jim's Bar of the QM Union.
She was recently invited to perform a live session on Nic Harcourt's Morning Becomes Eclectic Show on Santa Monica radio station KCRW.
Jo also performs along side Vashti Bunyan playing Piano, Flute, Concertina and Kalimba.

Although Jo was offered demo deals with both Island Records and Polydor’s subsidiary Fiction, she has recently released her debut album, Paperclips and Sand, on her own label, Lo-Five.
