Talk:Jože Plečnik
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Since the Slovene article redirects to Slovenians I think the link in this article should be to the actual article. A dispute about the correct nomenclature should be discussed on that talk page rather than carried out on articles that link to it. If there is a reason that Plečnik is more "Slovene" than "Slovenian" despite their synonymity, then please argue the case on this talk page. Dystopos 16:38, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- There is a reason - mostly because of naming conventions - but since every leading article have been changed to present articles - so what can we do now? You are not helping in this matter by telling that we should discuss in that talk page. Someone here does not respect naming conventions (see the first version of this article, for instance) and work of other users. Best regards. --xJaM 22:39, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)

- I only stumbled into this tempest accidently by having this page on my watchlist. Which means I've been watching an edit war for the last day or so. I now realize there is a full-blown argument going on at Talk:Slovenians/Talk:Slovenes and I certainly don't have sufficient motivation or expertise (either as an expert in WP conventions or in English etymology) to weigh in. In any case, it's ridiculous to carry out this dispute on all these tangential pages. I will report more than three reverts to this page by whichever of you gets there first.
