Dr. Yu is a well-respected and widely published figure in contemporary studies of virtue ethics particularly in the realms of Chinese and Greek philosophy. This entry is not a Vanity Article, passes current criteria for notabiliy, and even passes newly proposed criteria for academics as his publications, credentials, position, and influence certainly qualify him for criteria 2, 3, 4, & 8. This is not to say this article is yet complete, as I fully intend to develop it further, however I strongly disagree with its being marked for speedy deletion. Please feel free to discuss the matter with me, before simply marking it idly again.
