Jinbo Yoshimune

Jinbo Yoshimune (????-1520) was the head of the Jinbo family in 1501. Yoshimune was a rival of that of the Nagao of Etchu province, fighting many battles against them. Yoshimune also fought against the Shinjo in the year 1520. Yoshimune was defeated by that of Nagao Tamekage after setting out to attack the latter's Shinjo Castle. While Yoshimune had nothing but a shattered army, he ended up killing himself at Fukagamiyama. Jinbo Yoshiaki, the younger brother of Yoshimune, was his successor after Yoshimune's death.
