• Jin (state) (746 BC-403 BC) (晉), a state in northern China during the Spring and Autumn Period
• Jin Dynasty, used to refer to a number of Chinese dynastic kingdoms:
  • Jìn Dynasty (265-420) (晉) of southeastern China
  • Later Jin Dynasty (Five Dynasties) (936-947) was one of the Five Dynasties during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms Period in China.
  • Jin Dynasty, 1115–1234 (Jinn) (金), a Jurchen kingdom in northern China
