Some guy's commentary; I would just delete, however, we can get a sentence or two from the text. -- user:zanimum

  • Delete. A mention in the Jim Thorpe article is enough. - DavidWBrooks 16:57, 12 May 2004 (UTC)
    • Jim Thorpe already has "In 1951, while Thorpe was still alive, a feature film about his life was released. Jim Thorpe: All-American starred Burt Lancaster, and was directed by Michael Curtiz (the director of Casablanca). Thorpe did not earn any money for the movie, as he had already sold the film rights to MGM in 1931 (for $1500)." Niteowlneils 18:14, 12 May 2004 (UTC)
  • I redirected to Jim Thorpe until someone gets around to writing a proper film synopsis. Alcarillo 17:26, 12 May 2004 (UTC)
  • I've added "The movie was titled "Man of Bronze" when released in the UK." to the Jim Thorpe article, which seems to be the only part of this article worth saving (IMDB concurs this was the name). Niteowlneils 18:18, 12 May 2004 (UTC)
