The bio page mentions he is Lord Commissioner and Parliamentary secretary at the cabinet office, not a whip. Also I can't find a source for Zionism or Republicanism. Zeimusu | Talk page 00:01, 11 December 2005 (UTC)
- Google says he was chairman of Labour Friends of Israel. I can't find a source for Feemasonry though. Should there be a separate page for the children's author? At the very least, the section in italics should be moved to the top of the page and restructured, hich I'll do now. --Whouk (talk) 00:07, 11 December 2005 (UTC)

Several websites suggest Murphy was a member of the Revolutionary Communist Party (Furedi) in his early 20s. Does anyone have a reliable source for this? Warofdreams talk 00:51, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
