Does anyone know if Button is LDS? I ask because I read in an interview that he attended BYU for his undergraduate work. I know one doesn't have to be LDS to attend BYU, but most attendees are. I'm fairly certain (although memory may elude me after 20+ years) that "Jim Button" and "ButtonWare" was also all over the screen when I loaded up my PC-CALC spreadsheet program. (a knock-off of Lotus 1-2-3).
